Creed n Colour

Bukit Bendera Ahmad Ismail had said in a speech at Permatang Pauh in Aug 25, " as the Chinese were only immigrants it was impossible to achieve equal rights amongst races." That got me thinking. After 51 years of Independence, countless(but indubitably in vain) efforts to create a "Bangsa Malaysia", we still have these kind of people roaming around in Malaysia making these seditious remarks and getting away with it(for now). So it seems that we're "pendatang" eh? Then what's all this fuss bout us going outstation and not coming back to serve the country? Aren't we welcome in Malaysia whom we had fondly called our own haven? Haven't a CHINESE had broken the curse that binded us without a medal at the recent Olympic event?

I'd realize now why is that Malaysians can never totally be united. It's because there are such people like Ismail who fan the racial sentiment just to win the support of his own race. And the next best(or worst) thing is, all our Pak Lah(our PM, the guy who is supposedly to be "fair" to all races) did was to "tell him not to do it again" and supported Ismail, saying that Ismail didn't mean it.
Oh. My. God. You know what, Mr Tak Pa Lah, the only message you're sending across the whole nation(not to mention the world) is that in Malaysia, anyone can just sprout out these kind of insult and get away with it. Ok, maybe i should rephrase that sentence abit. Only A CERTAIN race can utter such bigotry statement to others and walk free in hand. And at the other end you're "promoting" racial harmony. HOW ironic.

But no matter. You're only showing the world wat kind of politicians we have in Malaysia. =.=
Happy Merdeka!
